Dr Tania Beament is the Associate Dean (Strategic Partnerships & Work Integrated Learning) within the School of Nursing and Midwifery. She is actively engaged in developing and sustaining several quality initiatives within the school including providing overall direction for all international programs within the School of Nursing and Midwifery and manages key international relationships. In addition Tania also supports and liaises with international students to assist them in navigating their way at ECU. Tania’s research interests include the introduction of ISOBAR for clinical handover and a collaborative research project looking at the Perception of Men in Nursing. Tania’s PhD explored the Response and Recognition of Clinical Deteriorating in an Acute Setting. As a senior clinical nurse Tania's experience is in emergency medicine, trauma management and critical care.
